Professional photographer since 2004, independant since 2007.
Wedding photography, advertising, sport and architecture photography, mainly covering southern France & Paris, basically available anywhere.
Wedding photographer of the Year 2010 at the APPPF international photography contest.
First prize in 2011, Nature & Environment category.
Initially destined to become a science Major, I turned to photography the day I realised that hyper-plane topography within an n dimensional space gave me as much satisfaction as polymer behaviour in aqueous environments... none.
Still, some leftovers of that time still remain : an acute sens of observation and analysis, solid methodology, and a pretty strong inkling for abstraction.
From then, I spent four years working on my photography, travelling, shooting people, slowly constructing my personnal view on the value of beauty, taking on board different cultures and lines of thought, and generally absorbing any artistic or cultural current I could.
Among many other things, I discovered that beyond an absolutely theorical wave-particle duality, light can be one very strong vector of emotions.
Services and philosophy
I adapt to your event, according to your needs and desires. You hire out my services for a certain number of hours, during which I work according to what has been discussed prior to your event (in other words : I do not impose anything with regards timetables and arrangements, we simply predetermine when and where to make those classic shots for you).
The rest of the time, I document your event as it truely happened, in the way of a photojournalist, thus staying distant and discreet, avoiding the use of a flash unless it is absolutely necessary (and definitely never during ceremonies!).
Whether colour or black&white, all my photos are individually processed, thus creating images which will last an eternity without being subject to the latest fashionable Photoshop filtering process or any other trendy gimmick. Looking back in 50 years time, your photos will still not be outmoded.
And, because I am aware that a wedding is not just the fruit of many months work and preparation, but also that special unique event, deserving a flawless service, I only use high-end professional gear, regularly serviced, and immediatly replaceable with backup if there were ever a problem.
